Me: I think we should tell her how kids in Japan are already functioning adults when they are eight. She is really slacking at eleven.
Friend: Yeah, man. I think we should tell her, "When I was eleven I already had my first gym badge. What you doin'?"
Me: Dude, she didn't even go get her starter Pokemon. And there is no way she'll catch one on her own. She's a real disappointment.
